Feel free to listen, and hope you enjoy the sounds of my heart and soul that through music, I can remember and share the many good and bad experiences in my life that led me to songwriting.
Now if only the Grammy panel or a major concert promoter or big-time booking agent would give a listen--ya just might like what ya hear!!! Heck--ya just might be my "Colonel Parker in waiting"...
If you would like to purchase a CD, you can do that on the "PayPal" page. HOWEVER PLEASE NOTE that we are taking orders ONLY through email at this time, as we are currently not using PayPal. (*Even though the logo is still here, we just cannot seem to get it to 'work', so good old fashioned email and snail mail will have to do!)
Thank you for your interest in the MUSIC, because that is what it has ALL been about!!!!
I had to take a nap after laying the basic acoustic tracks and scratch vocals, and left the producer in charge of "producing" some added sounds. When I awoke I heard the magic and beauty of his unbelievable interpretation of what I wanted to 'hear', both emotional and musical...it brought tears to my tired eyes, and I hope the listener can 'relate'...
Take one blank bar napkin, one lonely woman listening to one blazing blues guitarist and this song came out of literally the "Blue"...in Blues Central when I USED to be a regular player with the Bagladies band, listening to my friend Paul Byrd playing some SRV tune better than perfect---one of my inspirations!
My first CD was recorded in Mill Valley, California in June of 1995. I was playing in Cabo San Lucas for the winter, and was approached by a local friend there who I THOUGHT was 'pulling my leg' when he told me "LuLu you need to be recording your stuff", and for the very first time in my life, that comment actually came true! I jetted off to No. California for a week, and hooked up with some amazing players, a few of whom I knew from Alaska ironically, as well as the producer who I met in Cabo a month prior! Hence, the title, "Its A LuLu Small World"...
My second endeavor in 2005 was a collaboration of minds and talent, being that the lovely and talented Miss Management (of the Aqua Nets) kind of set me up with my producer, JD Cox, who was looking for a 'project', and I became a recording artist once more! The "Palooza" CD is 98% original material with a little bit of a twist on some tunes that range collectively from rock to mellow, to insane (the Alphabet Backwards tune) and funky. My mission in life it to teach people something from my experiences, and I think that learning the alphabet backwards might just come in handy one day for someone!!!
Go on....you know you want to!!!

LuLu underwent double hip replacements in 2012 and in her recovery time she recorded a few tracks at home with her new toy, a gift from her pal "Banjo Barry" from Takeetna's "Bathtub Gin" band.
These tracks are now available on a special release called "Just The Fun Stuff, Mam" in adition to a few fun tunes from both CD's, PLUS a special added bonus track from her very first band in 1977, Puddingstone, and are available through email as well as at all of LuLu's performances.
